I had virtual families 2 until my sister got my tablet for christmas and I got a laptop. I got Spore ad Minecraft on it. (since you cant really download stuff off of google play with a laptop since your dad wont let you download anything off of any other website except google play.

I'm on Gen. 7 now, got like 10,000 coins, everyone is well fed and Uncle Phineas is still giving me his comics, and Uncle Alpert is still dying :PI was playing VF2 when all of a sudden, TWO of my people died at once, my youngest and my oldest. The youngest, Bistro, had depression, and my oldest, Gregono, the dad was old. I don't even know. And I am NOT having five children on there AGAIN. No way.
Um, any suggestions on SOMETHING against depression on that thing?? I have only around 700 coins.
Make sure they always have food, and are healthy. If they want kids, then let them have kids. Also, it helps to buy them a peice of furniture or a home renovation to make the house look nice.:)
Whenever my people are sad, I make them pet the kitten. And I praise them for petting the kitten. And I feed them fruit and candy. For petting the kitten. It seems to cheer them up– I'm giving them treats and other things but not necessarily encouraging a behavior that could hurt them if they did it too much (like feeding a depressed person some fruit candy for working hard at their job, even though working too much actually causes them to be more depressed).
If you don't have enough money (for some reason, I mean, they cost 25 coins) or if there isn't any candy in the flea market, just praise them and wait until candy/fruit shows up. And have the kids play a lot.

The other day Wifi had a serious infection. I got a doctor consultant and some throat lozenges or whatever, and then they sent me a response informing me I needed to take a shot to cure it and also that if Wifi wanted kids, he'd better get some baby boost.
