Well, compare the pictures of the in-game animatronics to the animatronics in ANY OTHER GAME. COMPLETELY different. Well, mostly different. The whole game could be dreams/hallucinations. Everything seems to lead up to that. “Was is it that you think you see?” Suggesting that it's not happening, a figment of your imagination

The word “nightmare” was on many of the teaser pictures, along with the words “Was it me?” Meaning……. Was it me who bit your frontal lobe off?

Heheh, nope. Not after this. But, before reading, note this game is fictional and it doesn't really matter if it doesn't fully apply to logic. Patients without frontal lobes actually don't have fears. Taking away the frontal lobe would take away fear, meaning he COULD NOT have NIGHTmares. Also, if it's not a dream, patients without frontal lobes also seem to have short attention spans.

true. that's why i think it's the bite of 87 kids BROTHER. remember, he was the one who threw the kid in Fredbear's mouth while he was singing. and like Markiplier said, the fact that Foxy turns into a plush says that thiis is all in the kid's imagination

I'm not going to be leaving this topic, but I will be less active. I have found other things I am interested in, and am less motivated to theorize about FNaF.

I know no one is gonna like my opinion, but if a game franchise makes you have to theorise to guess a plot then it isn't really one: I reckon scot or whoever made it was just making them without any thought and just made it ‘vague on purpose’ as he didn't have a story.

Except Scott said that no one uncovered the story in fnaf 4. If there wasn't a story then Scott would've been lying. So by the way your saying, Scott is also a liar. Plus, the games do have a generally stable timeline and lots of details that fit together.

Sure, a few things fit in, like Shadow Bonnie/Freddy (the purple shadows near Fredbear's Stage) and all that.. but not everything does!
Here's the evidence- The Puppet. He has almost NOTHING behind him as evidence. NOTHING can prove he fits in with the Dream Theory. Springtrap. Same thing. The lore in general. If this was a nightmare, and he kept waking up afterwards, 1. It probably wouldn't have lasted THAT long. 20-24 nights.. That's a lot! Almost a month. 2. Recurring nightmares do happen. What I mean is the EXACT same nightmare, happening over and over.. and over.

But let's prove it was not this kid's demented imagination.
Fnaf 4 Night 1 Mini-game; The child says to Fredplush “These are my friends”.. Wait, what? It would be fine saying these were his IMAGINARY friends, but if it was that way, why IS he crying? The sad truth is..
His friends are DEAD. THE MISSING CHILDREN. Remeber, at the end of FNAF 4, when the child is kneeling in front of Fredplush? The plush toys of Freddy, Bonnie, Chica and Foxy slowly fades.. Fredbear asks ‘We are still your friends- do you still believe that?’ and fades. A new voice says ‘we will put you back together’ The child must have died from the bite.. This new voice is using a different ‘you’. The plural ‘you’ ‘you five’

The five children. The missing children. Golden Freddy.

It all fits together now..

The child isn't haunted by this. It's his brother. The one who shoved him into Fredbear's mouth. He's paranoid by the fact he killed his brother. The souls are posessing the animatronics. The child apparently witnesses the murders and sees his friends get stuffed into the four suits, therefore referring to the plush toys of Freddy, Bonnie, Chica and Foxy as his friends.

Fair point, but as for the lore not fitting, it IS possible that the missing kids were his friends, but people have dreams about people they know or knew quite often. I believe that subconsciously, while it may SEEM like the kid is the night guards, in reality, it is my totally unprofessional opinion that the KID is the puppet. Think about it. If the missing kids were his friends, he'd want to ‘save them’, right? And while in his dreams he can, if he mentions his wish to ‘save them’ in real life, people may tell him ‘You Can’t'.
And purple guy; Like Mr. Cawthon said, a kid seeing a guy in the shadows helping a guy into the suit, he may see it VERY differently. From what we've heard, and the worker entering the suit probably has as well, this poor man is probably nervous as heck! Seriously. Who would willingly get into one of those? Well, I guess workers have no choice, but…
