What Is This?

Modular Scratch is a free public service designed to share custom blocks that are easy to use and simplify procedures.
It is our hope that Scratchers of all skill will come here, some to give examples of thier work, and others to shop around for the perfect block.
Not only is this a shring place, but we will run shops, showcases, spotlights, competitions, and much, much more!

How Do I Participate?

To participate, all you need to do is build a module, or even a single custom block!
Build whatever tickles your fancy; a simple ‘jump’ block or a super-complex triangle-filler!
Then comment your link on our Participation Studio and one of our dedicated curators will add it!

Can I Use These Blocks?

Definitely! Take any block you want, any time you will.
The whole point of Modular Scratch is to share
There is only 1 rule, however, and that is to always give credit to both Modular Scratch and the original creator of the block/module.

Block Of The Month

This is a custom blocks competition, where the coding elite go and make their best blocks and/or modules!
Curators will pick the winners foor both prizes; Best Block and Best Module.
There are a few rules to Block Of The Month.

• You can submit a maximum of three blocks or modules.
  
• The champion of the previous round (of either title) cannot participate in the next round.
  
• Your block has to be original; it cannot be an identical duplicate of somebody elses!
  
• Play fairly, and be nice to fellow competitors.
  
• Have fun!

Apprenticeships

An apprenticeship is where you are individually tutored by a curator. Once your tutor thinks your are a capable enough coder; it will be possible for you to become a curator
Here is the form to become an apprentice:

Username: Required if you're on the standby list.
Preferred Name: What you want to be called
Wanted Tutor(If not, do you want to be on the standby list): If you want to be on the standby list, or if not which tutor you would prefer
Activity: Self-Explanatory
Devotion: How devoted you'll be
Skill(1-10): Self-Explanatory
Example(If any): For educational purposes.

Apprentices

• MegaByteCorporations tutored by ZLGames.
  
• Ritz1125 tutored by Sigton.
  
• Blockware tutored by Saiid.
  

• Over 6 months on Scratch.
  
• Have at least 100 forum posts.
  
• Be a Scratcher.
  
• Be active and dedicated.

Staff Relevant

This section is only important to the staff, so if you're a customer then you don't need to pay attention to this bit

Cut Guidlines
If you are inactive for more than a month, without stating a reason, then you will be cut.
Breaking any community guidlines will mean an immediate cut.

Additional Notes

In case you didn't know, a module is a collection of functions in a similar category. For example, a bunch of blocks that make different shapes with pen would be a module.

To get the whole thing started I think we should create some custom blocks/modules, to set an example. Hopefully people will follow
