Dear scratch someone on scratch (Im not saying any names) Got reported for a project that was not even bad ! This did not just happen once it happened
3 times. Now she has to unshare her projects so she does not get reported.I truly feel bad for her and I am a bit upset with the reporting system and now anyone can report any project and that project will get deleted !
whats up with this ?

I'm pretty sure that a project isn't automatically deleted once it's reported. Also, since the project wasn't bad, it won't be deleted.

A project is not deleted just because it is reported. First someone from Scratch has to decide. And they would probably send you an alert.

Every project that is reported is manually reviewed by a Scratch Team moderator and consequences are given out based on their review. If the person whose projects that are getting reported are also being auto-unshared, then then they were worth reporting and being deleted. Also, the projects are not deleted, simply unshared, so that the creator can improve and remove any inappropriate material.
Any projects deemed not worthy of being flagged as not safe for scratch are not removed. Whoever reported them will receive an alert.
I'm sorry that this happened to your friend but if their projects are being “deleted,” it is not because someone reported them. It is because they were considered to not be appropriate for scratch. They should have received an alert explaining why their project was removed, and that should clear up all of yours and their questions. If they have any other questions they can contact the scratch team directly.
Thanks!

Did she get an alert because of the project?I'm pretty sure that a project isn't automatically deleted once it's reported. Also, since the project wasn't bad, it won't be deleted.Well she told me she never deleted it :l
If so, then it probably wasn't allowed on Scratch.

A project might be temporarily unshared if enough people report it - but all projects that are unshared like that are reviewed by the Scratch Team and if the project is okay, it is reshared. Nothing is deleted.I'm pretty sure that a project isn't automatically deleted once it's reported. Also, since the project wasn't bad, it won't be deleted.Well she told me she never deleted it :l

Please read Paddle2See's reply; he's from the Scratch Team:
If your friend feels her projects are unfairly reported, send the Scratch Team a message through "Contact Us".
If it really was unfairly reported, the users who reported it will be punished instead.
