Sweet! Did you see the video about a high-capacity server somebody set up by buying, like 40 RPis and connecting them up in an advanced network? It was so cool! It was way cheaper than a web server and did ok compared to one.
I run a small home server with a RPi. RPis are the future.

I'm not kidding, I saw a video about it
You could also get a nice server for a very low price on eBay.

I wish.

I got nothing AT-related because my parents think Scratch is a site where I talk to Americans, and Americans only.

I'm from Canada
I know. -_-
I wanted an RPi 2 Model B and an extra mouse, but I'll just buy it myself.

unfortunately cost per MIP still favours the Intel solution, even with the 4 core Pi, athough the pi may be competitive if you include electricity costs.

I haven't recalculated the actual costs since the Pi2 came out. Must do that sometime.

However I do now have 4 Pi2's and will be clustering them soon - I used to run an MPI cluster (somewhat larger) at the university where I worked, and I have some software that uses both MPI and OpenMP which I'ld like to work on, so I want a small cluster just for testing the functionality even if the CPU power isn't sufficient to do much of interest.

The two apps are 1) DNA assembly; and 2) an advanced Computer vs Computer Scrabble player. I wrote them both some time ago but when I lost access to the cluster I couldn't polish them off for release and put them online, so I want to finish those projects off and publish them. (Which pretty much sums up my retirement - finishing off 30 years worth of incomplete projects!)

Even if we were all from America (I'm from Canada as well :P) why would it matter?
