Hi, everybody! No clue if anybody's going to read this, but I'm making a 3-part fantasy-comedy series, Witch + Worm. I am playing the Witch (her real name isn't revealed until the last episode), and I need someone to please just try out for Worm AND be committed enough to stick around for 3 episodes. (Hey, it's a steady acting job for about 6 months. )

So, who's Worm? He's not a worm, it's much cooler than that - he's a living shadow that Witch brought to life in exchange for eternal service.

So, one person tried out for the part, @Curlz77, and she is really awesome. But I pictured Worm as a guy, and I'd have to rewrite parts of the script if I ended up picking a girl. Plus, I want some more options before I pick for certain.

A: No, I'm not definitively requiring Worm to be male. I am letting girls try out, like @Curlz77, as I said, but that's probably a last resort.

Q: How old do you want the voice actor to be?
A: If it's a guy, I'm thinking 8-12 years old. If it's a girl, I don't really care. Again, these aren't definitive requirements, but I don't really want 6-year-olds trying out because it's kind of hard to communicate what you want, and I don't want adults trying out because Witch shouldn't be significantly younger than Worm.

Q: What is Worm like?
A: Worm isn't the sharpest knife in the drawer. That being said, he's a funny guy, sort of naïve, and always eager to please. After all, he was only brought to life on the condition that he'll serve Witch.

Q: Have you talked to anyone else about this?
A: Yes, this isn't the first time I asked for help. I've made a couple of forum posts, including a request to the most popular voice acting shop, and there's this studio for everything Witch + Worm - related: https://scratch.mit.edu/studios/1855244/. But as of February 10, there's only one participant.
