13+ projects?

First off, I know full well that a 13+ version of the site is rejected:

Scratch is designed for all ages, and dividing the community would not really help anybody.

My idea is that, you can have shared 13+ projects, and shared FE projects, and only one account for that, by simply making it all 1 website, but putting restrictions on viewing on a few projects.
That way, everybody gets what they want! No FNAF on the FE side, and kinda bad FNAF on the other.
I'd be switching between both, and some other scratchers may too.
I would like the stickies on that topic further in depth, and an explanation if this suggestion will not be accepted.
This is my post on the stickies for this topic.

How do we keep 8 year olds from jumping to the 13+ side?

How would you enforce said restrictions? What woul the restrictions be? A five year old can't read a notification, and a kid could get someone else to solve a math problem in order to view that project. Students would get on 13+ projects in school, and then the school would ban Scratch altogether.

Well the scratch team keep rejecting this idea and it would upset younger people who can't view particular projects. I would never support this.

13+ version of site is basically the same idea as 13+ projects.

i thought that was pretty obvious.

Scratch is intended to be for all ages, so making 13+ projects wouldn't be any different than having a 13+ version of the website. That's not going to be added as stated in the stickies.

Anything posted on Scratch must be appropriate for all ages.

Great response - this perfectly sums up our thoughts on this, and it's the same reason we won't allow more intense projects if they have warnings. Anything on Scratch should be appropriate for everyone with no barriers.

I completely agree with this.

I remember the FNaF discussion topic with practically everyone suggesting this, and people having to go around saying that the ST already rejected that in the first post. Scratch is for all ages, and all of the projects should be too.

No support.

A workaround is just having a forum or something and a link to download a file that is 13+…

Hey i made a project called "*inset 13+ title here*!

Heres a link to download the .sb2 file!

Just host a forum for that! Or if you have the money host a sever for that!

You just contradicted yourself, you said this was different from the rejection, except; you post what is literally the purpose for the rejection.

No support, as per sticky. NFE is enough, and not all FNaF is bad either.

Thanks for your input. I now know , further in depth, why this, and the stated sticky-rejected brother, are rejected. Closing.
