Why do people bump topics?

So that they appear on the front of the forum, making them easy to find and access ! The special thing about stickied topics is that they don't need to be bumped
Thx!

Question what does a shop do? How do you make one? And by shop do you mean the goods are needing to be paid for?
In a shop you can sell logos, sounds, scripts, voice acting, art and much more! To make a shop, you can open a new acount, make a studio for it or (most commonly) you can open up a topic in the forums and have people order the goods there. No, you don't have to sell the goods for money (if you have any idea how to do that, I don't) you can do a trade and barter system (a favor for a foavor), or you can just make it free.
Thanks!

Great, this is very helpful I'm thinking of starting a new kind of shop though. What about a quote shop? Where you ask for a quote for an occasion that you describe and then the manager or staff gives a fitting quote to you?

Hello!
This is an awesome guide! I just have a couple of questions:
I'm not sure if I'm ready to take on the responsibility of owning a shop - is there some course on Scratch that I can take on management?
What if you get a lot of orders, but don't have time to complete one of them? Is there a specific rule for that?
Thanks!

Shops on scratch are like real world shops, (except without money), and you can do whatever you want but you might not get many orders . To think about it there's orders I need to complete in my shop XD.

Actually quite recently courses have come out about management. Crimson and Co's College of Collaboration was one of the first, I know Sigtons Shop opened up a school. There's another one that I can't place the name of right now. I'm personally not sure which one is the most active, just browse around a little. Being part of a shop will definitely help as well .

I'm going to try to find the last one as well, I think they might be the most active of the three.

I just found this, and I would recommend it because I've worked with the person before : https://scratch.mit.edu/discuss/topic/169613/

How do you “bump” your shop? I really need this to keep my shop on the list, I just don't know how to do it. Also, can you give me some shop names that includes something to do with frogs? It would really help.
Thanks,

Just posting ‘bumps’ your shop. You just say bump if you haven't been getting any posts in your shop to bring it to the top .
