Editing your comments.

I'm new to Scratch, so I don't know all the features that you can do yet. One thing that I've noticed it that I can't edit my comments. If this is not the case, please show me how. If it is the case, could you think about implementing that? Thanks!

Example:

Heblo! I love this project!
Now I have to type a whole other comment because I misspelled “Hello”
Edit: Hello! I love this project!

If you had a “edit” button next to the “Report” and “Delete” buttons, you can edit you original post with out having to make an new one.

It's not possible even for Scratchers. Also, this could happen:

Original post: I hate you! You stink! You are the worst person in the world!

Edited post: I like you! You are the best person ever! Want to be my friend?

Maybe it could only be edited if there is a word that is like an allowed word? Ex. If it saw “Heblo” It would find “Hello” and allow you to edit, but if it saw something that was random spam or was a purposeful misspelling of a bad word of some sort, it would not allow editing.
Support if what I said is what you mean.

Can't you do this with the fourms?
Plus, whenever you edit it it should say “edited” so people know the person edited

Semi-support because i am not sure that this would be useful alot.

Just show the previous edits, public for everyone to see.
Like @lovescratch973 stated, this is also already possible with the forums, so why not just add it to comments as well?

Support for showing the other edits so there's evidence.

Now, I know this might be some work, but if you saw that a comment was edited, there could be a button that showed what it looked like before it was edited. Or, maybe only the ST could have that luxury, like if someone was reported or something, only they could see the unedited post. Smei-support.
