I found this post in the Advanced Topics. If you look it says last edited by Kaj. I checked and it was not his signature, and I pressed quote and there was no BBCode. How?

Hmm, strange. I saw that post before, but didn't pay attention to the “Last edited by” part (if it was even there when I saw the post). I can confirm that there is no BBCode formatting which would cause the message to appear.

The only thing I can imagine is somehow they messed around with their credentials or something when editing their post.

I think it would be a lot harder to actually get into Kaj's account (which is deleted) and then edit another user's post.

Essentially, though, I think they would have had to trick the Scratch server into thinking they were kaj while editing their post. Of course, that would be pretty difficult - there was a big topic in the AT's a while ago about doing something like that and nobody figured it out.

I actually don't know. I don't know a lot about web stuff.

The only other thing I could imagine is that the guy *is* actually Ben Berg (an ST member), and he used his admin powerz to write that.

People are overreacting over Kaj. All he/she/they did was cause some minor trouble many years ago (there wasn't even any hacking) and people treat him/her/them as a terrible and irredeemable villain. IMO, how the some ATers use Kaj as a lab rat for their experiments and what the user in question here did is meaner than what Kaj actually did. If the rules were up to me, mentioning Kaj in a negative way would be considered “gossiping” like it would for any other Scratcher. I bet Kaj is much more mature now and isn't going to destroy Scratch if he/she/they came back.

TL;DR: Please stop using Kaj to show off your 1337 hax0r skillz.

I never mentioned Kaj hacked Scratch. Also, I did not do this.

UPDATE: I have told Paddle2See and he said that he said the developers are looking into it.
