Cloud variables are variables that can interact between multiple users of the same project, save data so you can always use it, or even to report the x, y
Of somone else's cursor!

Yeah, like if you make a click the button project that counts how many times it was pressed total all-time. You could make the “times pressed” variable a cloud variable, and it's value is stored on the scratch server. No cookies required!

you have be a scratcher to get them. And a cloud variable is like an all time top score.

Basically, it is an on-line version of a variable - instead of showing your score it will show the top score overall out of all the people how have played it.
