https://scratch.mit.edu/projects/88749151/ is a good example, and I have made 3D stuff too.Awesome! If NintenJoe10 apporves, (which I think he will) you're in! pretty good.

Found it. https://scratch.mit.edu/projects/46155548/
Edit: that's like a year old and now I could make one much faster.
Stamps or clones sound much better as Fuzzbutt said and would be much faster anyways.

Uh, well, I suppose it is kind of like Minecraft in the way it looks. But not really the character… Just try searching up “Monument Valley” or something. Is it like minecraft or real life? The idea using stamping. And what do you mean is the landscape in the blocks? I don't really understand. What idea? Also, is the landscape in blocks? So in the real Monument Valley, you tap where you want her to go. I'm thinking clicks. But first, tell me what that idea was.Oh, in that case this is going to be a bit harder. You'll see. I actually finished it last night, but I then decided to make Ida in vector too so that the animators/artists have something to work with.I was thinking of stamping. So how much detail can you turn in? Can you just point in 4 directions, or can you rotate smoothly a few degrees at a time?I am going to try and make a sample, just a single block where you can use the left and right arrow keys to rotate. I considered making the blocks out of pen, although there wouldn't be very much detail. Was pen one of your ideas/all of them? I've been thinking about this and the 3D Engine for it. I might even be to complicated for me. Well, I can do it, but there are three ways. One way is really hard to make, but easy to modify a landscape, is super fast and not laggy, but takes up some data space with lists. Another way is easier to make, just as easy to modify, but takes up 4 times as much list space, and is a lot more laggy when loading a screen. The third way is to just have a couple costumes showing a landscape from different angles. It will be hard to edit, but lagless. What do you think sounds best?
But yes, it's a few degrees at a time. My project doesn't show a complete turn, by the way! It's just to show how it should look as it's turning. In fact, it stays in mostly the same perspective the whole turn. But it shows the proper shading and stuff. I'll make the four actual views of it too.I'll have to think some more about this. Also, how do you move? Is it scrolling, or individual scenes that you walk in and out of?

Can I help on the monument valley project? Also, will you be making the game with sprites, or pen? Pen might not look as good and it would take longer, but the sprites and costumes might take a long time to make/get. Are you going for quality or time?

The landscape is sometimes foggy and misty, but for some levels, it's just white. It depends on which level you are talking about. Sometimes, there are small towers that turn or something, but they look just like the other level parts. But is the landscape in blocks?Uh, well, I suppose it is kind of like Minecraft in the way it looks.
