I can't figure out why this is happening. The platforming script used to work perfectly. Now my character starts out with its head poking up from the ground. Can someone please take a look?

Really. When you play it the character isn't falling through the ground the whole time and all you can see is his head? Because this is what I see when I play:

Must be a glitch on you computer. It is perfect and fun to me!

Your script doesn't say on the person ,If touching color,bounce or whatever it is.

What do you mean? “if on edge bounce”? It says "if touching color " move so many y coordinates.

Do you mean it works like a normal platformer should?
If so what computer are you using?
Do you have any ideas since it used to work on my computer and now for some reason isn't? Did I inadvertently change some setting?

The character isn't falling through the ground. I tried it on different computers, all the same.

I guess it's just me then. ( What computers by the way?) Any ideas about what to do about this?

Seems OK for me too but a couple of things to look at.

Are you testing on the project page or in the editor? Testing in the editor can give odd results.

I'd recommend setting up your project to have an initialisation stage and only actually run the game scripts once you've initialised all the variables. If you just run everything from green flag scripts the results can be unpredictable.

OK. I tried what you said. I made sure to test from the project page instead of the editor and I made double-sure to initialize all variables first thing. However, my character still seems to be falling through the floor.

Works fine for me…

During this entire time have you reloaded the change, made any unsaved changes, closed then re-opened the tab, made even the slightest unsaved change, restarted your computer, double check that you haven't made any unsaved change, tried a different computer, made sure that everything was saved, or logged out and tried it then?

I have tried all of the above except for trying another computer. Unfortunately I don't have access to another computer right now. What computer are you using by the way?
