Can we uhh stick to the SI Prefixes rather than inventing sizes of data that don't exist?

In the 5 years since this topic has been posted (and necroposted on by some person spamming) there hasn't been any usage of these words beyond Seagate giving a conflicting definition in their blog post, the large number fandom wiki saying it's like 10 ducentillion bytes or something and other untrustworthy sources saying it's a different unit from what it is in OP.
Guess that's the issue with going outside the standard, nobody has a common consensus on what is what.
