Look. The Mario thing was a joke (I know, I'm amazing at them) I'm trying to say that anything could be classed as a jumpscare. This can include: goombas showing up in Mario, a character clapping in an animation and… I basically ran out of ideas for anything. Also, I like Mario.
I agree with unsharing “.exe games” or most things “slender-related” but you're using a slippery slope argument here; no rational person would classify goombas appearing or wild Pokemon showing up as a “jumpscare”.
If you must define a “jumpscare”, it's a sudden change in the game atmosphere with quick flashing images and a sudden volume increase.

This is actually very… what's the word… pointless.

ABOUT FNaF :

FNaF Takes place in a family pizzeria called“Freddy Fazbear Pizzeria.” Home to the animatronic character Freddy the Bear, Bonnie the Bunny, Chica the Chicken and Foxy the pirate fox. But things get rather terrifying at night as the animatronics seem to… malfunction, as said by the recording on the phone. No, these cuddly animatronics have a dark side to them as they seek to have revenge and to avenge their lives.

Seems creepy, yeah?

This is not our fault that some children are getting scared from it. After all, this is a horror game. This isn't “Five Nights With Unicorns and Pop tarts.” Or some sort of preschool game. It's about testing to see how scared you can get and too see how long you can survive.

Also,

IN THE BEGINNING OF THE FNaF GAMES, YOU ARE WARNED WITH A WARNING SAYING “WARNING! This game includes loud noises, flashing lights and lots of jumpscares!” So you cannot say we did not warn the player who wishes to play FNaF. If they ignore it and see for themselves and get their lights scared out of them, it's their fault, not ours. We are NOT responsible for their lack of obedience of reading the warning.

What do you expect from a horror game? Its not some little kid game where you dress up dudes, solve 2 + 2, sing a'longs. No, this is a HORROR game. HORROR = Frightening, scary, terrifying. They don't call FNaF a horror game for nothing.

So this should be thought more carefully. WE ARE NOT RESPONSIBLE FOR THE KID'S BEING SCARED. As I said in a last paragraph, there is a warning in the beginning of the game. So no, you cannot say we did not warn the player.

It is their fault they want to play it and get scared. Not ours.

-Sincerely, Shark

Not to everyone. Some people can jump at minor things. Like my cousin who jumps every time he has a random encounter in games

Adding a warning doesn't magically makes the project appropriate for the website. What if someone made a game full of 18+ pictures and references? Would you consider it okay for Scratch, only because it has a warning before it?!

I don't think so.

I'm in the making of a FNaF type game, however it uses toons from Toontown, and not Freddy. It won't have any backstory or anything.
Is this okay?

That seems okay :]

I agree with you that there are very jumpy people. There are also three year old kids that won't bat an eye at FNaF.
But that's not the majority. Even if it was, the ST runs the website, so they get the final say on whether each project stays or not.
No hard feelings, okay? Nobody's getting banned and nothing will be deleted (just unshared); that's already really nice of the ST.

That's not how it works. Most Minecraft projects do not violate any community guidelines, as far as the ST is concerned.
If someone made a project where the main character Steve swears, that's a whole different case (if so, report it).

I believe you may reshare an unshared project by yourself (make sure the things that violate the community guidelines are removed, though)?
I may be wrong about this, though.
You're not allowed to post emails on the forums. If you want to contact the ST, comment on their profile or use this link: https://scratch.mit.edu/contact-us/

At Least The Poop Project Is OK. I See That The Poop Project Is Funny, I Think That Funny Is The Opposite Of Scary.
