So what will the difference between Helpers and Mentors be?

Not sure really. Mentors might have some more privileges, and are personally invited by the ST.

Sounds pretty good! Because I get stuck pretty often…

I wish I knew… I was going to run for community mod in the next election.

I wonder if there are going to be any more election type things in the future for mentors? If so I'm definitely going to be running!

I'm guessing not.
I think it's better this way, though. Many people just want the position for the status. I will admit that I'm one of those people, which is why it's best that the ST is picking the mods (mentors, same thing) rather than the community, which may be biased towards the more popular Scratcher. Plus, as the saying goes: “those who do not wish for power are the most deserving of it.”
…Or something along those lines.

Thanks so much moderators!

When will this new system be out?

Remember when I looked like this? I still do.

Supposedly it'll come in early 2014. You can check this thread for a bit more update info, if you haven't already: Update on Volunteer Programs

Do you have to be a certain age to be Helper or Mentor on Scratch? Also, thank you moderators for keeping the site safe!

Do you know a good project that doesn't have a lot of attention? Suggest a project to be put in this studio that is unpopular.

Thank you moderators! I was hoping to suggest myself as a Moderator in 2014, but I saw I can not. But that is okay! I like the idea of focusing on helping the community. Scratch will be better!
