And it's especially funny to see someone getting humiliated by a SSG jumpshot while they're welding a AWP. xDYeah but its pretty funny that dualies still aren't used… I actually use the scout a lot in comp since you can watch mid with it and its pretty mobile.SSG 08 is useful for:Too bad that the SSG 08 hasn't got any action for nearly a year, I haven't seen one person getting a killed with it, we missed the ol' headshotter.Yeah thats also truePretty much, after the first round they suck. They have like no armor penetration so one the other side gets armor they don't work very wellNot quite, flashes are still useful as when you get higher in the ranks pop flashes will be essential to learn but then you will almost/do master it to get to like DMG or LEUtterly useless high in the ranks (I hear). Use a pistol, decoy, or even the C4 to trick enemies into looking away for a brief second. Flashbang - The go-to grenade for entering a room or area and blinding the enemies for an easy kill
Edit: Well, some pop flashes are useful but they're hard to get perfect.Smoke - A Diversionary device good for blocking enemies from attacking you, forcing them back and them to spray or hope that they don't die going though it.Protip: If you have an auto, spam it through the smoke. You might get someone
Smoke is most useful for blocking snipers as you sneak through an area, eg crate to B site entrance in Nuke. I've used a smoke before to sneak by A site into the right vent and plant the bomb before CTs knew what was up.
As for the pro-tip, if you do see an enemy trying to spray look where the bullets are coming from and shoot. More effective and better educated guess as to where they are.HE Grenade/Explosive Grenade - Same cost as the Smoke but instead of providing a wall it provides damage in a small radius, right under their feet and it can be fatal. Good for those able to throw grenades effectivelyYes but usually in competitive play, especially in upper ranks coordinating nades would usually be smokes and flashes, and maybe one or two people with a HE. Protip: Coordinate nades with your team to stack up damageMolotov/Incendiary Grenade - Quick fact, CT's Incend (as it is called colloquially) or Incendiary Grenade costs $600, where the molotov costs $400. The Incend does less damage to players and lasts shorter even though it costs more. Weird eh?Exactly. Great for stopping rushesDecoy - Waste of money, higher you climb in the ranks, less often it is used. Ever seen a pro player use it? No? Thought so.First, starting a sentence with “Wrong.” Is pretty rude. Learn Manners. Second of all getting higher in the ranks they will be able to tell the difference between flashes and decoys. Decoys are utterly useless after 4 or 5 seconds as its easy to see its not a real person from the minimap. Always check the minimap if you do want to get somewhere, provides good intel. Wrong. Decoy is super useful both for tricking enemies into looking away (they think it's a flashbang) and because the decoy weapon noises can sometimes trick the enemy as well (eg, if you're sniping, drop it under you, then enemies will peek immediately after they hear the decoy shot and you can take them out)
Also, the Nova and the Sawed-Off are weapons you shouldn't buy in competitive, they slow you down more than a typical SMG, they take forever to fire again and by the time you do you are dead. Please Don't.2 most utterly useless weapons: Sawed Off and Berettas. Just don't use them unless it's deathmatch and you feel like trollingThe XM1014 is the most underrated weapon in CSGO, its decent but if you want to get anywhere stick away from shotguns. Mag-7 isn't bad but don't use it in competitive.Maybe as a joke weapon like the Negev. I'd say MAG-7 can be used in compDeagle: The most mis-understood weapons to silvers and novas. It is not a weapon for spamming, quick switching doesn't lower recoilAgain rude, anyways sorry, i didn't realise, i checked and you were right. Wrong. Quick switching resets recoil faster than it would normally reset.Zeus: Isn't viable in competitive play. They buffed it so it was $100 during birthday update and few other small ones and then now $200. Originally $400 (RIP no one would ever use it) As $100 its ok, you still only get $50 kill reward. $200 and you're better of with a flashbang. y not? Because valve nerfed it recently? (RIP)CZ-75 Auto: Oh god, where do i start.Yup. I've actually tried this, and it's basically the 3rd most useless weapon after sawed off and berettas
Top useless weapons in CSGO
1. Berettas (70 damage headshot, ?!?!?! all the others can 1 hit K.O)
2. Sawed Off (10/10 range and fire rate -.- utterly impossible to use)
3. CZ-75 (Better alternatives for $500, only somewhat viable on CT.)
4. Nova (Shotguns are usually not viable in competitive play, this one is slow firing and has less damage but a tighter spread, ok for flanks on save round, would prefer UMP for the same price.)
5. PP-Bizon (for $1400 its better on T to get a MAC10 and on CT a MP9, its mainly a spray weapon and the only viable way to kill (it'll take to long otherwise, you'd be dead) is to go for headshots. Little damage)
6. Glock 18 (Low damage, burst is viable up close. For a free gun i guess its not that bad but less damage than a bizon, and believe me, that means something -.- better to get a cheap P250 or even a Tec-9/CZ (who uses frickin cz?!)
–––––––––––– Side Note –––––––––––––
Im finally GN1! Took a while but yeah. Matches are finally more interesting again, not like frickin top fragging 360 them lmao (Im joking, but i did top frag for like 3 games in a row just before getting nova against SEMs and other GN1s)
The Dualies got a buff and it's still useless?not to mention the reload time is crazy
Congrats at GN1 I got deranked .__.
Yeah, I guess giving it a Accuracy Buff or some sort of buff can do.Ive seen people miss completely with them
It's also insane that the Dualies got to the point that there is no single sign of them being used at all, I been to more than 20 Comp matches and I haven't seen a sign of those dualies…
- going fast (like sanic)
- jump shots (hide behind cover and listen for footsteps, then jump up/out and shoot some scrubs)
I use dualies for semi-trolling in deathmatch
(also for practice at dodging and stuff - it takes a long time to get people)

Problem is for classic modes valve nerfed it to $200Idk whether I should spend that cash on a nade or the zeus, seeing that I don't actually get into a lot of cqb situations in classic modes anyway.

(also for practice at dodging and stuff - it takes a long time to get people)
Problem is for classic modes valve nerfed it to $200Idk whether I should spend that cash on a nade or the zeus, seeing that I don't actually get into a lot of cqb situations in classic modes anyway.
they balanced it… it used to be $400 which was crazy expensive and yeah in deathmatch the zeus is like your best friend.

Even AWPs don't have the chance. xDHahaha I don't think the nerfed the zeus costI always carry a zeus in deathmatch - the range makes it like 100x more useful than knife for cqbor when they get zeusedAnd it's especially funny to see someone getting humiliated by a SSG jumpshot while they're welding a AWP. xDYeah but its pretty funny that dualies still aren't used… I actually use the scout a lot in comp since you can watch mid with it and its pretty mobile.SSG 08 is useful for:Too bad that the SSG 08 hasn't got any action for nearly a year, I haven't seen one person getting a killed with it, we missed the ol' headshotter.Yeah thats also truePretty much, after the first round they suck.
Wrong.
