That's right, it's back.

1. Install the chrome / firefox extension “Stylish”.
2. Clicky clicky.
3. Press the big green button.
4. Enjoy your semicolon fever!

Today I learned all about the semicolon and how to use it properly; for instance, a semicolon is used to combine two independent clauses that are joined by a transitional expression, such as “for instance.”

I use a comma after for instance… Or a colon, but that's more for a list.

[pedantic]
Wiki says it was on “every page on the Scratch Website”.
Not quite true - it wasn't on the messages page because that page doesn't have the relevant bit of javascript which had the semi-colon glitch.
The semi-colon-escaping bit of javascript is presumably to allow continuous checking for notifications, but the actual messages page instead has javascript that clears the new/unread notifications - so the semi-colon never showed up there.
[/pedantic]

One of the really curious outcomes of the above difference (and what I was really wondering about here, rather than the semi-colon itself…) is that you never see new notifications while on the messages page…
I'm wondering if it's *meant* to be like that? -Or if there's no choice because it's incompatible in some way with the notification-clearing script…?
