Google Drawings... A simple but powerful alternative to the Scratch vector editor (?)
I recently stumbled upon Google Drawings in Google's list of services/products.
I had never noticed it before, so I decided to check it out.
Turns out, Google Drawings may just be the perfect alternative to the Scratch vector editor,
a holy grail that many Scratchers can never seem to find.
Here's my argument:
Its' simple.
So, in conclusion,
I'd just like to shed light onto what I feel is a great program to use in lieu of the vector editor,
and to give this info to new Scratchers and experienced ones alike.
Do you agree?

Thanks!

a holy grail that many Scratchers can never seem to find.
Here's my argument:
Its' simple.
- Google Drawings is insanely easy to use and navigate.
- It's easy to make just the shape you want, just the way you want it.
- I could figure out how to use it within seconds.
- Very easy to save your work to Drive and download it as an SVG.
- All you need to use it is a Google account.
- Packed with over a hundred pre-made shapes, callouts, and diagrams.
- Line tools include arrows, connectors, curves, polylines, scribbles.
- Text tool is easy to manipulate and comes with the fonts you actually want to use.
- Abilities to insert images, tables, wordart, etc.
- And as always, the level of ability to collaborate we expect from Google.
- Sometimes complex shapes are ruined in Scratch, but this expected.
- Not ALL the powerful (but confusing) features we get in other programs.
So, in conclusion,
I'd just like to shed light onto what I feel is a great program to use in lieu of the vector editor,

Perhaps https://scratch.mit.edu/discuss/11/ could be a more suitable place.

Google Drawings... A simple but powerful alternative to the Scratch vector editor (?)
Hi! I used Google drawing to import fonts. But when I want to change size it turned black, no matter if it is a new costume or object. It is just plain black…any ideas?
Thanks!
Thanks!
