I think that putting in these kinds of spam detectors is unnecessary and obnoxious. The forums should place responsibility on the poster to write their post correctly, and the readers to report spam posts. I don't think that anything that can only imply rule-breaking behavior should be blocked like this.

Personally, I don't mind it. It's not rude in any sense, so I don't think it'l get blacklisted. It's a lot like when People Talk Like This, it's not hurting anybody, you just don't like it.

confession: i would enjoy a filter that automatically corrects that even though that would make me a huge hypocrite
