Have any of you noticed that sometimes when a sound is played it sounds like a CD player getting stuck? There also seems to be a weird sound in the background too. Can you fix this?

This problem seems to happen whenever i have my background changing in a forever loop even with pauses in the loop.
Scratch can't seem to handle the simultaneous playing of sound while also processing the program.

Yeah… im getting the same problem… kind of a bummer, but there really isnt anything you can do about it..

Make sure you are all using the

play sound [ ...] until done

NOT

play sound [ ...]

I know this one: just do this:

when green flag clicked
forever
    
play sound [dance magic] until done
end

I have a similar problem. I have a song in the creator with

when green flag clicked
 

forever
    
play sound [Song That Might Play When You Fight Sans v] until done
end

But sometimes, parts of it randomly repeat rapidly; like if the song is “rolling its tongue” in a way

I have been getting it like this, when i'm doing something while the music is playing, I always get a bug where the music like stops, while weird glitch sounds. Scratch if your reading this, please fix it!

This often happens when Flash (Scratch) is being very slow. You can probably notice that Scratch and the rest of the page don't respond while this lag is happening.

SAME THING HAPPEN TO ME Sounds like when your PC freezes while playing a game. ( dededededededededededededededededededede…….. )

when I receive [Game Over v]
show
play sound [Game over v] until done
stop [all v]

so i did play sound glitched so i used play sound till end then 1 glitch fo like 10 secs but way better

Please do not necropost; this problem has already been solved and was not actually a bug in Scratch.
