Updates! October 26, 2015
Hi everyone,
Today, we are launching the first of many upgrades to the look and feel of the Scratch website. Before today, it took a lot of work for our servers to run Scratch. Now, a lot of that work is happening in the delivery of the content, rather than by our servers. This means that Scratch should start to load and run faster.
Separately, we are beginning to update the design of the website so that it’s easier to use. You might have noticed we have released a new navigation bar (at the top of the homepage screen) - and it will soon appear elsewhere on the site. We have a lot of other changes up our sleeves, so keep on the lookout for more changes in the next few months!

ps. It may take a few hours before you see the updated homepage!
Cool! I can't wait for the upgrade!

oh whoops I seem to have commented on this thread accidentally on the staging site.
Whoops!
(and interestingly, it displays my post as the latest on the regular site without me having actually made a post)
but it was basically just a “I don't see it yet, is it because of my system?” post

Hello, I've noticed a problem in the Scratch Online Editor. When you open a project and save a file to a local directory, it freezes and I have to restart my computer (I have an iMac). I used to be able to download certain sprites with scripts for reference, but now I cannot do that. Is there anyway you guys can fix this bug? Thanks.
