The Nightmare Before Christmas?
I hope some people still remember this movie.
Personally, I think it's a great film, the songs are pretty good too. I'm glad that there are artists that cane together and submitted songs for The Nightmare Revisited album, as well. What are your opinions?
(Discussion of all Tim Burton films are welcome, just hide your spoilers if you do so, for there may be some who haven't seen all/any of the movie you are talking about yet!)

I loved it when I was a boy. I rewatched it at university and couldn't get into it at all. I enjoy musicals but Oogie Boogie's song aside I just don't think it works all that well.
The reason I was surprised I didn't like it any more is because loads of adults seem to really enjoy it still. Furthermore plenty of things from then still stand up. I've got every episode of Disney's Recess on my media centre for example! (Minor interesting thing about that show: it's unusual in that it has a fixed timeline running from Sept. 1997 to June 1998, not a free floating one like most animated shows)

That's okay that you don't like TNBC anymore, everyone has their opinions. I loved it when I was a boy. I rewatched it at university and couldn't get into it at all. I enjoy musicals but Oogie Boogie's song aside I just don't think it works all that well.

And that show you are talking about, that is unusual that it has a fixed timeline, but it does sounds interesting because of that.
some of Tim Burton's movies are disturbing in some aspects, yeah. The Willy Wonka in his remake of the Charlie and the Chocolate Factory movie is…creepy, in my opinion, with his “odd” behavior and backstory and such. Its probably the only animated Tim Burton I liked because it didnt scare me half to death.

And yeah, when samid comes here the thread will most likely blow up into a creepy, twisted, abomination of a thread (no offense).

I enjoyed the style of 9 but it really lacked depth.
Corpse Bride was better. I should watch that again actually…

Corpse Bride is one I'm interested in seeing, as well.
Cool! What were some of the songs you liked, by the way? The songs in the Nightmare Revisited and the OST albums are both equally nice, in my opinion. This is one of my favorite films of all time.
….well. That must have been interesting…What were the parts that scared you, if can remember and/or you don't mind me asking? I watched that when I was really young… I cried and attempted to smash open the TV screen xD

Hah, I remember that 9 was the first PG-13 film that I saw in the theaters.

I haven't seen 9 since that day four years ago on 9/9/09, but I remember really enjoying it back then. Maybe I'll give it a rewatch sometime or another.

I've heard of 9, and I've really wanted to see it for quite some time now. Do you know where I could buy it?Anywhere that sells films? It's literally the first result on Amazon for the term “9”. Corpse Bride was better. I should watch that again actually…
No need to rub it in, I know I'm old Hah, I remember that 9 was the first PG-13 film that I saw in the theaters. And how ironic that I was 9 years old at the time that I saw it.

Recoiling in fear from me is a healthy reaction. Corpse Bride on the other hand was quite cheerful as I recall. I think I watched it on a long haul flight so I'm a bit hazy on the details.haha i'm scared now Corpse Bride was better. I should watch that again actually…

I've been watching it all my life… It's made my brain perfected. Now whenever people talk about scared children with “the Boogie monster” in their closet/dresser, I imagine the Oogie Boogie Man trying to squeeze himself into such a small space. xD To quote Ada: “THE BEST!!”(Sorry for removing some exclamation points.)
