Why are Warrior Cats SO Popular???
I've never heard of Warrior Cats outside of Scratch. Is it popular everywhere or is it just popular here because the mascot for Scratch is a cat? What is so appealing about it that draws so many fans?

Ok… first of all, it's famous Everywhere with a capital “E”. Second, it's a pretty cool series (at least the first 5 books are). I doubt you've read them. And lastly, everyone likes cats and violence.

1) No need for a capital E. Ok… first of all, it's famous Everywhere with a capital “E”. Second, it's a pretty cool series (at least the first 5 books are). I doubt you've read them. And lastly, everyone likes cats and violence.
2) Eh, true.
3) This is my opinion, but I dislike most cats.

I think it's popular on this site because people just enjoy making games based off of the series. After all, there are a lot of elements in the series that make for a fun, interesting project.

This is what I gather Warrior Cats is based on. The above posts. Correct me if I'm wrong…
1. It is about cats (obviously)
2. Like the Hunger Games (which I've never read) except with cats.
3. Cats fighting cats?
4. Or maybe cats going on a quest?
Tell me which ones I've got right…
Also could you tell me why y'all are so crazy about it?

Why are Warrior Cats SO Popular???
One of the reasons it's really popular on Scratch is that it's intended for the same age group, about 8-14 year olds. The Warriors fandom is massive other places too though. The books are extremely well written, if a little repetitive at times, and they lend well to roleplaying games and fanfiction because of their consistent formula.

The part about them being extremely well-written is what I'm a little iffy about. Some of the books are better than others due to there being multiple authors, and as I've gotten older, I've begun to recognize more flaws in the series and the writing style. What I mean by well written is mechanically correct. I'm not a huge fan of the style and the story/characters can come across as a little bland, but you have to admit that in terms of sentence structure and technique it's very well done. The part about them being extremely well-written is what I'm a little iffy about. So Warrior Cats is popular because of the unique plot?

Warrior Cats is about wild cats in clans who live like wild cats.
Ya know, fight other clans, have sweet bonds and emotional deaths.
It's made in a cartoony look around here and online because it makes it more ‘enjoyable’?
I don't like realistic animal fiction.

Well apparently, meowing is cats talking to humans. They don't meow to each other. At least not wild cats.Hardly realistic, cats don't talk. Warrior Cats is about wild cats in clans who live like wild cats.

That's what I've heard, though the books kind of imply that the cats “talk” to one another not just by sounds, but by gestures as well.Well apparently, meowing is cats talking to humans.
