Here is an article on how to use the Scratch Emoji.

For future reference, this is the forums. You can't use _waffle_, _meow_, _eggplant_, etc. on the forums. They only work in comments. They do NOT work in project descriptions.

You can however use BBCode to create an image of the emoji. Here is a complete list:
