Bitly links
I wanted to shorten my website's link, so shortened it using Bitly and tried to paste the link to my What I'm Working on section. Then the bad detector thought that I was inappropriate, so it gave me an alert about that.
Seriously, are Bitly links considered as inappropriate on Scratch?

Still, Scratch can't guarantee the website is safe so it's best to ban that.I clicked it and it brought me to my website, as expected Yes, because what if it redirected to malware or something inappropiate?

Is the link too long for the About Me box? If Scratch doesn't like bitly, try using goo.gl, a more well-behaved URL shortener.Wow seriously?Still, Scratch can't guarantee the website is safe so it's best to ban that.I clicked it and it brought me to my website, as expected Yes, because what if it redirected to malware or something inappropiate?

You are not allowed to use url shorteners on Scratch because there's no easy way to tell where they redirect to.

What if someone posted the shortened link on the Member Created Sites topic and got it approved? You are not allowed to use url shorteners on Scratch because there's no easy way to tell where they redirect to.

Welcome to the forums! Please check the dates of the topic or the latest post before posting, because if you don't, and the post's date is from 1 year ago, you have just“necroposted” which are discouraged in the forums except in the suggestions forum, the show and tell forums, the TIRAP frums and the TIMAC, and secondly, please add something to the discussionYeah.
