Did your flight have wifi? Oh man that would be sooo good
I don't think flights are supposed to have wifi. It would interfere with the plane's radio communications and whatnot. That's why they advise you to turn your cellphone off or put it into flight mode before you take off.
Actually, sorry to say but its not true, the only signals that planes need is the ils/dme/etc. signals and the radio communications. Radio communications use wayyyy different types of signals, ils/dme/etc. also use way different signals.

Actually, I'm pretty sure this is a superstition.

Yeah, you're probably right after all.

Meh, I like the kid movies aka pixar movies but since I'm shorter than five feet I have to crane my neck a lot to watch the content :c but I was able to watch movies anyway, it's just that I have a painful/stiff neck afterward

The planes I rode (flew?) had adjustable screens but he viewing angles of the lcds were terrible. You literally couldn't see what the person next to you was watching without leaning on them.

that might be intentional - it'd be kind of weird for them to design it so if a complete stranger was sitting next to you they could easily see what you're watching.

Heyyy guys

I actually never was on a plane, but we're planning to go to France the next month, and I'm hoping we'll take the plane (since were in Croatia). Can't wait for the trip~ But, is that normal since I'm afraid of heights?

Yeah, being afraid of flying is normal the first time.

I'm going on a long plane trip to Paris in a couple of weeks. Normally, I play on my DS(es) and iPad. Hope there'll be good movies, haven't seen any plane movies in… a while.

I watched the Hunger Games 3 weeks before it came out . Why I could? I don't know. But I wasn't complaining.
im guessing this is because airports are technically international territory, as is airspace (afaik), so the airline could pick and choose a release date

I didn't even watch the movies lol, I stare at the wing and engines. I do especially like b737s so you know
Yeah, 737's just got new changing-color LED lights, bigger windows, and an overhead bin that's smaller but wide and holds mor luggage. If this is just part of this airliner, just imagine how luxurious Boeing 737 MAX is going to be!

also, I wish they had the TV-in-fron-of-you for 737s. Every year we travel to Orlando in AA operated with a 737-900

Even if your plane has some sort of emergency, (about 15 checklist items for each) your're actually 85% likely to live (or 100% to live if the emergency is a medical emergency and you are not the victim of it.)

That is true, but there's technology that can have ‘airplane mode’ so that disables a few features that could interfear with cockpit.

The last time I went on a plane was when I was 3 (so i can't remember what I did) but I was recently watching Shaun of the Dead and it came with a special version that was censored for inflight entertainment. It was more hilarious than the movie itself (even though it's really funny to begin with).

I use in-flight entertainment a lot whenever I'm on an international flight.

Too bad China Eastern Airlines didn't have tons of goodies for my trip from China to USA, I only played the games on there.
Of course I'm Chinese, although I like Sonic a lot.
