Harvest moon… I love harvest moon…I like your signature picture of all those dogs. I know the Animal Crossing dog, Harvest Moon dog, and Okami. I used to play this, it was pretty fun.

Your account on Poptropica will be deleted if inactive for six months, to be exact.Just a month? I thought you had to be inactive for multiple months, maybe a year, for your account to be deleted. I loved poptropica… But since i haven't been active for a month they deleted it.
And just recently, I found an account that hadn't been visited for multiple years and managed to log on.

I played around the time SPY ISLAND was released. I'd play it all the time.
I still play it today. Now, I'm kind of losing interest because:
1. No rewards for veterans.
2. Ads. I know they need money, but shoving big “Galactic Hot Dogs” ads in our face and adding pointless rooms with long loadings doesn't make us want to explore the island.
3. Episode islands. Enough said.

I played Poptropica when I was like, 5 or so, when there was around 6 islands. I do have an account, but I've only completed 9 islands and I've had the account I use on there right now for around 3 years.

I agree with all of those reasons. It just seems that after Survival, they thought “Hey, why not split the islands up into episodes?” Probably not the best way of thinking. I played around the time SPY ISLAND was released. I'd play it all the time.

Also, I was kind of disappointed with Poptropicon. At first, I got to make an awesome new costume for my character. But then I learnt I had to do over seven boring “go-to-point-A-and-then-go-back-to-point-B-and-then-do-it-again-fourteen-times” missions which I had to change my costume for. Problem is, I don't have membership, so I couldn't save the awesome costume I already had. You'd think that the booth that allows you to “save your costume” would work for all types of players.
I'd say probably the last island I played and enjoyed was Mocktropica. All of that meta stuff that they put in there was arranged well-enough to make it a very fun island. In fact, it might actually be my favo(u)rite island. After that though, it just got a little less interesting. I hope it's not because the other islands didn't match up to Mocktropica.

Mocktropica was fun. I just hated the fact that they made you destroy the achievements. It also would have been better without the Japanese robots. Also, about Poptropicon. I also disliked changing my character. My character has stayed the same way for about 6 years, I don't want to change my character all for some cheesy medallion. What I really hated was the plot. You impersonated some guy, and tried to steal his ticket for a convention. [sarcasm]Great job, Poptropica.[/sarcasm]I agree with all of those reasons. I should stop now before I go on another rant…

Yep. If you say to the aviator guy that you are new (even if you aren't) then he will take you to a super-easy mini-quest that results in 150 credits upon completion. I LOVE POPTROPICA!!! have you heard that there is a new home island?

Happy 8th birthday, Poptropica! I put on my 3rd birthday balloon in honor of the occasion ~ If I remember correctly, the only birthday prize I ever missed was the hat that goes with it.
There's a World Champions map out for beating Early Poptropica - I finished as number 1347 ^-^ As in past years, popping the Birthday Balloon in a clubhouse will get you an exclusive prize. I found it easier to get this time around, caught it a good 2 or 3 times just re-entering the same room. The reward is a power - the 8-Bit Birthday Pixel Pig Power (what a mouthful) and it does some pretty interesting stuff - turning people into pigs, for one thing.
Users who are finishing Early Poptropica for the first time get 200 credits instead of 150, so for those who haven't played the game, now's a really good time to start.

Apparently, you now have to get membership or something to play all of the old licensed islands (Big Nate, Choose Your Own Adventure, etc.)
This definitely makes sense in my mind, probably due to the rights expiring or something, but it seems just a little off to me.

yeah that's something I don't like about poptropica, but it doesn't matter to me, because I almost finished all the islands. I only have skulldery, astro knights, and steamworks I don't ever want to do them, way too hard for me.

I have used Poptropica before. It's really good.
I was really surprised when I heard it was made by the Diary Of A Wimpy Kid author, Jeff Kinney.
