Since my original Flights topic got closed, I think this fits in the forum better.
Discuss your experiences with inflight entertainment systems.
Long time ago, they used to show one movie for all the passengers from a number of screens, now most planes have personal systems for each passenger with movies, music, tv shows and more.
All of these systems run Linux and usually boot from a network, so you they're probably easy to hack, especially if you have access to a usb port for a portable keyboard or something.

Like TheGeek56 said, I also like to stare at the wings as well, or at the ground if the sky is clear enough. Though last June I had a five hour flight, and ended up watching this paranormal show (I forget its name) for most of the time. It cost like eight bucks but was completely worth it. I like that paranormal stuff. But the engines were so noisy that I had to have the volume on my headphones all the way up to hear it.

I don't think flights are supposed to have wifi. It would interfere with the plane's radio communications and whatnot. That's why they advise you to turn your cellphone off or put it into flight mode before you take off.Did your flight have wifi? Oh man that would be sooo good I do Scratch on flights

In case you ever fly in the future, here's a little tip: try chewing gum while you're taking off. That's what I always do. The change in air pressure will cause your ears to pop, and chewing gum will help prevent that. Don't worry. The flight attendants aren't bothered by it. In fact, they even recommend it. It's also a good idea to chew it while you're descending as well, for the same reason. I've never been on an airplane

Afaik someone created an Android app that can hack in to planes using Wi-Fi or Bluetooth or something. Apparently I have been on a plane when I was a baby but I can not remember that far back.Actually, I'm pretty sure this is a superstition.I don't think flights are supposed to have wifi.
