Maybe a rule is that people should post accurate furlough times; i.e. actually being on furlough way longer than they said they would be. I think a good rule of thumb is that even if you think you might be on during some absence, post a furlough notice anyway; it's better to be active during furlough than inactive w/o furlough.

my furlough was totally inaccurate it was supposed to go to 8/1 but went to 7/25 (?) instead
