I'm sorry if this has been asked repeatedly, but I'm new around here and kind of short on time for something.

Whenever I try to upload a sprite from my files, the button won't do anything. I hover over the button with my mouse, and it says “upload sprite from file”, but when I click it, it doesn't do anything. Everything else works just fine (other than the “upload background” button as well).

Any suggestions? I really need to finish something ASAP, please help.

Bump. Any ideas? I need the help now, please.

To import a sprite, it has to be a .sprite2 file.

I don't know, perhaps it needs to take a longer time to upload. One time it happened on my computer, I just wait about 1 minute.

Or a .gif, those work too (though how much people use gifs now here? )
And as per always I have to say: click the globe for debugging info:

When I click on the icon to upload a sprite, it won't even show the file explorer to search for images to use. The image I had in mind anyways is a .gif actually.

I'm having the same problem currently, was this ever resolved?

thats my problem and it is sprite two but still does not do anything it works at my school but not here at home

I'm making a song but I can't press “upload sound from file”. I'm puzzled as I could do this a week ago so how can I make this work?? By the way, I am on a Mac OS if anyone knows how to make this button work.

it looks like we are all having the same problem. I used to be able to upload a sprite from file until I got the mac high sierra update.

I'm using Scratch on Mac too, and I keep clicking it like 100 times but NOTHING WORKS
