So im thinking of making a fnaf fan game but i have no ideas for characters and game mechanics so if someone can help please do

The easiest way to come up for characters:
1. What's your Favorite, Second Fav, and Third Favorite animal? These will be your base Animatronics.
2. To name them, take the animal name (Ex. Sheep) and add a suffix, prefix, or just change it around. (Ex. Sheepla, Iggasheep, Peshe)
3. To go furthur with names, take the current name (Ex. Peshe) and change it to something a bit more normal (Ex. Penny)

As for game mechanics,
Try your best to be unique. It can still incorporate doors and windows, but have an extra feature. A Shockwave? A Pickle? A T-Shirt Cannon? Whatever ill help the player survive!

And if you want places to be realistic,
Go somewhere late at night, and take pictures of that room from left to right if you want camera's to scroll. You can simply draw on any animatronics that stand in the rooms, but it will most likely be more realistic.

When he is in your office he will slowly fade away then jumpscare you

And i want to know how to make office scrolling

If you want it to be realistic, take a webcam/camera and take pictures of rooms from left to right.
If else, just make a normal, non scrolling office and set the size.
Such as:

Ok so The Dog and the others are on the stage just like Freddy Bonnie Chica
The main hall is pretty big so all animatronics stand in one stop of the hall the cat and the wolf come active almost instantly animatronics Bonnie/The cat comes active 1 AM Chica/The Wolf comes active 2 AM Only bonnie can come to the exit in the dinning room just put the position of the original
and When The Dog reaches the bathroom he is peeking out of the boys room and the other two Just stand there The play they can go there and they just stand there like the dining room
