H word on scratch?

In community Guidelines it says “use appropriate language” and yet I'm seeing people saying the h word, which shouldn't be allowed even if it means the place, because people are using the word in the negative way. This word should be taken out.

H word on scratch?

Is the word being used as a swear or in a religious context?

I've seen it used as the place once, but every other time as a swear word.

If you see someone using inappropriate language (or what you think might be inappropriate), all you can do is report them, the comment or project the word appears in, and let the Scratch Team decide.

I have and scratch keeps telling me to not report “appropriate” things.

I asked a question like that a long time ago and found out that you can say h*ll if not used directly like as an insult.

As an insult no.
In religious context yes.

H word on scratch?

If it is in a disrespectful way, it is not allowed. But if its related to a religion, it should be ok.

But its kind of a judgement call in this area - people tend to have different ideas on what is acceptable or not.

Oh, they certainly do have this! You can't report someone for using hell as the place, unless they're using it as an insult like telling someone to go there, or saying they're going there.

That's what I meant when I said I saw someone use it as the place once. They were saying someone should go there.
