I think the crying child in that minigame is actually the soul of GF. And then, when GF says, “I will put you back together”, you finally become the marionette.

also, the kids head is significantly bigger than the mangle head, so its more likely to be a toy

That's true, but the point that it's Mangled/Not Put Together is what we're all confused about..

If it were a toy, it wouldn't have the bare endoskeleton head, nor would you see the endoskeleton at all. Unless it was a prototype of Toy Foxy that was destroyed, it would make no sense for a Plushie to look like that.

It wouldn't have to be impossible. The boy you place as might have been bitten in 1983, but you could be playing in 1987. The mangle could also be there as a hallucination just for the child, or maybe even the Mangle is the nightmare version and the child only sees that.

then why is it called the bite of ‘87?

there was no bite of ’83, as it was never mentioned in the games, so there is no proof that it exists, and it just seems illogical that a pizza company would not have been shut down if there were two bites

When it says 5 days until the party, until I think the 3rd day is when you actually see him there. We also know that the place we play inside the minigames isn't the same FNAF2 location. Though the calls you receive in FNAF2 are prerecorded, my –new theory btw– understanding could be that Phone Guy was recording it for the FNAF4 location. I think that there are actually 4 Fazbear Entertainment buildings, So then Phone Guy is still correct about the one that was left to rot.
The only thing that contridicts that would be the Toy Animatronics aren't there.. Unless they actually are.
When you are forced back the other way toward the stage, the man seems to appear from the right. But because you might just be afraid of everything there, the only place you like is where you get to eat; the tables.

And the bite of ‘83?
It doesn’t exist because of one reason:
It wasn't a malfunction of the animatronics, and it wasn't anything that spectacular, like someone survive a giant bite to the head. It was a child who's tears loosened the locks on the mouth, causing them to close.

And that's it. That's all you have to know.
