"Replace "undelete" with "undo" and "redo"

Everyone understands those commands, but “undelete” is kind of strange and “undo” would allow you to undo more than deletion.

"Replace "undelete" with "undo" and "redo"

Sometimes when I move around a script accidentally when I intend to pan the script area upwards, then I replace the script incorrectly, the whole thing gets screwed up and then I don't know why. Support.

"Replace "undelete" with "undo" and "redo"

Support!

It is very frustrating when you accidentally move code blocks and don't remember exactly where they were, or when you try out some changes that turn out to be bad, and want to change back.

The solution I have come up with at this time is to download the project I'm working on before I make any major changes - that way I can restore the code from that by uploading. But it's a bit tedious, and it doesn't help me with minor code mishaps which are very annoying.

Also, when I searched for this suggestion, I found many that were closed as “solved”, which seems very strange since this feature does not yet exist. Am I missing something?

Most of the editors within Scratch 3.0—the script editor, costume editor, and sound editor—have their own undo/redo systems; you can use ctrl + Z/ctrl + shift + Z to undo/redo.

Now, the Restore option (3.0's name for the Undelete option in 2.0) only restores deleted costumes, sounds, and sprites; it doesn't undelete scripts because that's handled by the script area's undo/redo functionality.
