Should there be Cash blocks in Scratch?

No support, money-related things have no place in a free programming language for kids. This would cause no end of additional work for the ST, and there aren't any “benefits” other than “yay now i can tell four-year-olds to give me money!!!11!!”.

No Support, money shouldn't be in a free program. Many children don't have PayPal, and I could just ask for $10000000000000000000000. Even if you did have that much money, I could put it in a forever loop.

The Scratch team asked me to remove my bitcoin donation address from my signature a while ago, so I'm pretty sure the Scratch team doesn't like the idea of optional donations.

No support, this system could be easily abused:
Someone tricks people into giving them money by saying it is for a good cause
Someone puts it in a forever loop
Someone does something like “If you don't pay $9999999999 you can't play my game!!”

Plus, scratch is a site for kids. Not to stereotype but children aren't very good with handling money and would probably not have their own pay-pal account.
Also, why would we need this? I don't see any use for it.

If we had this, it would just turn Scratch into a money world of in-game-purchases. People don't want to pay to play a game. It would really ruin Scratch to fill it with monetization techniques. Plus, it could be abused. If people wanted to make IAPs, it would turn the entire Scratch into a money pit.
