Hey guys,

I am aware that you go to File > Import from local drive in order to import an already created project. However, my main question is the uploading procedure that follows this process. If I'm not mistaken, once it is imported from your computer, the project does not get shared publicly immediately.

Thus, the moment I import the file I have, after a while, the project loads and I can edit the scripting et cetera. During this process though, there is a constant message on the top right-hand corner which reads saving…, and this never stops. I'm not too sure is it's because the file is over 18MB, but I was told that there's no limit on this new website. When I interrupt the saving process (which never ends) and revisit the “My Stuff” page, there is only one empty project in the trash.

Anyone know how to salvage this problem?

There's currently no limit to the project size in Scratch 2.0. However, this is a very large project, and encoding and uploading it's 409 media assets simply takes a really long time. On my computer, over a DSL line, it took 3.5 minutes, which felt like forever. The only feedback that it's actually doing anything is the text “saving…” in the editor nav bar. If you give up and close that page before the upload completes, you'll get either either an empty project or perhaps one with a lot of missing graphics and sounds.

There should be better feedback during uploading. I've added that to the “To Do” list.

Good plan! If you can isolate the issue in the smallest number of scripts / sprites possible, it will help us fix it!
