I was working on making a platform game, and I had just finished (so, perfect timing I guess)! I was about make sure it was saved, when suddenly the whole screen turned white, and I can't save it.

I loaded the game in another tab and found out that it has not saved in a very long time, and it might be a lot of work to restore it. This is getting extremely annoying as my plugins keep crashing and glitches that are related to my computer keep occurring, to the point where it has taken me six hours to make one background.

If I leave the tab open (I would take a screenshot, but it is just white!), is there any chance that it will save? Or is it gone (it couldn't be recovered if it hadn't saved, I would guess).

My browser / operating system: MacOS Macintosh X 10.10.4, Chrome 43.0.2357.65, Flash 18.0 (release 0)

Please don't ask me if this works in other browsers. I don't know any way to prompt this glitch, so I will have no way of knowing whether it works or the glitch just hasn't occurred, and eventually I get extremely annoyed with how slowly other browsers load Scratch.

I no longer need help with this specific scenario, as I realized that the most recent save was more recent than I thought, so I was able to fix it in a decent amount of time (and finally, no glitches!).

Apparently, this glitch is on the official list, and it has nothing to do with Scratch, but with the plugins it uses (from what I remember about it).

The “solution” is to save all projects your computer every few minutes so that you don't have to worry. This probably uses a lot of space, though, so that means that there is no solution without its downsides, but if you lose a few hours of work, you can ask the ST to try to recover it, or, if you have enough time, remake it. It doesn't take as long to remake it because you'll already know exactly what to do.

If anybody knows a more efficient solution, feel free to post it here!

Thanks everyone for the help! Anyway, because this topic is months old, has been resolved, and (I created this when I was still relatively new, forgive me ) I posted this as a separate topic when it should have been in the sticky for lost/broken projects, I think I'm going to close this now.
