An Inside Look On The Furry Fandom

Many people don't even know what a Furry is, many people don't care about Furries, and many people hate Furry guts. No matter what your opinion is, I hope that you will listen to my new program “An Inside Look On The Furry Fandom”. I hope that you will come out of it learning something new or forming a new opinion on Furries.
Furries have often gotten a bad rep from TV shows and the news, however many things said about them is completely incorrect.
If you have questions that were not answered in the program please ask! I will be happy to answer it for you.
If you do not like Furries or think they are gross, please listen to my recordings and maybe you will come out of it with a different view. However if you don't that is okay, I respect everyone's opinion. However I do not want any hate comments bashing on me or the fandom. I respect your opinion and your interests, please respect mine. Furries do not deserve to be hurt or bullied for what they like.

You know, I only think of Furries as people who dress up as animals and draw human-animal hybrid monstrosities. Nothing more, nothing less.

I think it's quite an interesting topic to cover, as there a lot of misunderstandings about furries. I'm not a furry myself, but people have the right to have different hobbies, interests and ways to act.

I've had a listen to your project and I think it covers most things that people might wonder about.

Well, furries are a questionable topic to cover on Scratch. Are you sure you know what you're doing?

I am well aware of the hatred towards the fandom I am a part of and prepared myself for criticism and bullies. Furries are a questionable topic to cover on pretty much all websites apart from websites made for Furries. Do you not think I was one hundred percent prepared for people going after me for my hobby? I need to be ready for anger, hate and distrust whenever I go out in my suit.

I think the concept of the project is cool that you are addressing something you find controversial. I clicked what is a furry, and listened but didn't listen all the way through. It is too long. Maybe you could have more concise points, and have a section for the history of furries; then and now, and one on what is a furry.
You are also pronouncing anthropomorphic wrong.
Under why are people furries, just get to the point we don't need to know that you find it a strange question. Like I said more concise content would be great.
Define what a fursona is, because you use a term people may not know about.
Overall I think it will make a likeable program, and I think you should make a second episode.

Thank you Allycorn for your feedback!
How do you pronounce anthropomorphic?

Google the word, a definition will come up and there will be a speaker icon, if you have the volume up click the speaker to hear it said.

I love furries! I know there's a bad side of the fandom. But still, that isn't the whole entire fandom. Look at fursuiters like Telephone, they entertain other people. And look at the people who fursuit at malls and diners, they get so many pictures from children! And the children love fursuiters too, i've never seen a fursuiter kidnap a child.

Furries aren't “questionable” unless you're talking about furries stereotypically.

Furries are regular people just like you and me. Being a furry isn't like gay marriage. Furries are just a hobby. People draw furries and fursuit all of the time.

Same thing with cartoons. Kids watch and make cartoons all of the time, but some adults make adult cartoons.
Anyway. I've seen furry communities on the forums before. Some are friendlier than others. AnthroCon is a good example of a friendly furry community. This project is to explain a fandom that's been misunderstood for a long time.

If you think about it, it's mildly annoying to have such behavior in public places.I'm no furry but honestly…

…WHO THE HECK WOULD PAY AN ENTIRE FURSUIT FOR $1000.00 IN TOTAL WITH THE OTHER STUFF.

I would. I am part of the furry fandom and every year I attend to Anthrocon.
I also do fullsuiting every so often because it is my hobby.
So if you don't like the topic then….

Well…..
