am I the only one who got really annoyed when watching the movies because they didn't follow the book's story line at ALL? I'm on the second series of Percy Jackson now, currently reading The Son Of Neptune. No spoilers about Mark Of Athena please!

Supposedly the movies change the entire storyline.
The books are pretty good. I don't have a favorite character or moment.

I used to like them through about until 6th grade. Lost Hero came around then and I read it and the Son of Neptune but those were both really, REALLY slow and poor and in hindsight the original series wasn't that great.

This first movie was okay.I read the two first books of Percy Jackson but I didn't saw the movies.

I've read all of the books about 1,000,000 times each but I've never seen the movies. However, I hear that they are really bad and don't follow the storyline of the book at all!! Aren't Percy and Annabeth like 20 or something?

The first movie was okay?! It was so different from the book, I don't know how it could get worse. And a person said that the second is closer to the book.This first movie was okay.I read the two first books of Percy Jackson but I didn't saw the movies.
They're not worth watching
The second was kinda bleh.
I kinda want to see the second movie.

thank god someone agrees, although I quite liked the lost hero it was completely predictable, I mean really how obvious could you make it, but son of neptune is slow and dull

yeah they all look a lot older than they're meant to be. and annabeth wasn't blonde! and her eyes weren't grey which rick riordan always made a big point out of

The second one's all wonky.
The first one, what's up with the fight with ares being replaced with one with luke? and the pearls, percy got them from a mermaid or a sea nymph when he was thrown into the sea. and in the second one… I don't know where to get started. Tyson had already met Percy before Camp Half Blood and the mist appears automatically, you don't spray it on! Ookay my rant is done now. I just don't know how they're going to do the next few movies. I hope they don't, they're ruining the books

I read the Percy Jackson series, I kinda liked it. I read the first two books in the Heroes of Olympus series and got partway through the third one, but that's when I just got bored with the book. As for the movies. >.< Terrible

Mark of Athena is a really good book so don't stop reading it! I know there's some boring parts but the awesome parts are there too!
Also I've reread it like 4 or 5 times because the fourth book isn't out yet

Annabeth IS blonde read the part in Mark of Athena where Leo was confessing he bombed Camp Jupiter.
BUT CORRECT ME IF I'M WRONG.
Also Annabeth and Percy are like around 18.
