I think this should be it because if it is something like ban hate studios, that is the point of the report button. You could also use contact us too.

I say no, let people express their opinions even if you disagree with them. just because you like X doesn't mean you should get the ST to ban everything and everyone who doesn't like X.

That is the point of the report button/contact us.

I'm indifferent. While some of them could potentially make sense, most ban-able things on scratch are already ban-able. The person making those topics is probably new to the Scratch community and doesn't understand how it works, so it can just be explained to them.

They never really go anywhere because there really isn't anything that can be taken down in all cases that isn't already in the rules, but if somebody notices something that should be disallowed because its disruptive to the community or something in ways that weren't predicted, they should definitely make a suggestion about it especially so that other users can contribute their input.

Now, of course, a lot of ban xyz topics aren't very useful because the xyz in question can't be banned outright - everything has to be judged on a case-by-case basis.

The suggestions forum was made for a very simple purpose - suggesting ideas to be added to Scratch.

Now, as I stated above, ban xyz topics normally aren't really helpful, because xyz has to be judged on a case by case basis.

However, sometimes something unexpected crops up that needs to be disallowed that previously wasn't. Normally, of course, the ST will take care of said problem, but if somebody notices something that they think is wrong with the site it is helpful to post a topic where the users of the site can discuss it.

And, ban xyz topics, like anything else, are judged on a case-by-case basis. If a topic isn't helpful, such as “Ban FNAF!” or “Ban Recolors!” then it will be closed.
