Camstudio isn't working on my Laptop. Does anyone know another screen recorder? It helps a lot. TNKS!

I've heard that new versions of CamStudio download adware/malware on your computer with it, so that could prevent it from working.

Debut Video capture system. Not sure if that's the name though. But it's really good but costs funny.

If your laptop has Mac OS X on it, you can also use Quicktime Player.
Otherwise, see above

Try Bandicam. It has a 10 minute recording limit and a watermark for the free version, but works well on low performance PCs.

Bandicam for Windows.
Simple Screen Recorder for Linux.

Yes Hypercam I use it all the time, it's free and I haven't had problems with viruses at all

Open Broadcaster Software, and ShadowPlay. (ShadowPlay is only available for those with Nvidia graphics cards.)

I like OBS. It's a bit fiddlier to get running but it's totally free forever and won't spy on you or give you viruses.

I use Windows Expression Encoder 4. The free version comes with a screen recorder and no watermark. There's a 15 minute limit to your recordings, but I assume that you won't have an animation that long anyways. Plus, it's officially from Microsoft, so it's garaunteed to be safe as well.

If you would like to go advanced, use Fraps.

Kazam screen recorder works well on Linux.

Eh, I used to have loads of problems with Kazam. When using Ubuntu's default DE, it worked fine. As soon as I used another DE (eg, gnome-flashback, openbox) it would crash constantly in the background.

I, personally, use Ezvid, at ezvid.com. Easy to download and use, and loads of helpful discussions on the wiki/forum to give you help if you need it.
