I miss the good old days of the Miscellaneous forums. I used to post there sometimes.

I miss the scary story/CreepyPasta threads that used to pop up. Every time a new one starts up it's taken down now. There needs to be a topic for horror storytellers like that.

I find it quite humorous that one of the last topics there was the quote “Et tu, Brute?”

Ah, misc.
I was there for a very short amount of time, but I actually miss it a lot. A nice, small community of people you can relate to, where you are free to talk about what you want, is hard to come by on the internet (that was a long sentence lol). When I say nice, I mean no trolls. There were some very sarcastic people here and there, but that's not even close to other sites.
I understand why they closed it, though.

Originally, I don't think the list-maker included a lot of Miscers, and you had to ask to get on it (like I did)

I can't seem to access the archive but I remember misc
it was nice, but it wasn't perfect by any stretch of the imagination

i still prefer it to the current forum setup

there's very few threads that actually interest me now, but there were a lot more interesting things you could talk about in misc

I wonder if AT could produce a browser extension that uses a external forum as a backend but adds a misc forum to scratch…

Same here. Same here. It's a downer that every pasta thread that starts nowadays dies off after a couple of posts.

I joined Scratch a little bit before Misc closed, but I was never on it.

It wasn't. That's a Misc-er injoke.
I'll explain. Back in 2011, someone changed their signature to Jedward, and added the caption “This is all TDD's fault.” Lots of other people did that, too.

I remember not knowing what Jedward was until I used Misc.

Then I forgot the name until now.

Remember the quitting and “Am I famous” fads?
