Watership Down.

Watership Down is a book made by Richard Adams.

It is about a group of rabbits that go on a journey to escape their doomed home and seek out another Warren (city of rabbits).

Anyone know about the book?

My favorite character is Fiver, as he foretells the future and such.

It's the book you should look at, not the movie, as if you didn't read the book, you won't understand anything. And they forgot those stories of El-ahrairah. And the movie looks at the start like a cute movie, until Bigwig got caught in the snare.

Well, I like the book more obviously…

Does the book have any “dark” scenes in it?

Several dark scenes, yes, so it's not a children's boom.

I remember liking the bird who was just a complete jerk to all the rabbits, and spoke with the accent, but I forget his name. I have a really foggy memory of the book.

Dark scenes? The only one I can think of is when Bigwig gets stuck in the snare.

Watership Down is like they took Warriors, found a way to cram all four of the series into one book, and then added a rabbit twist. (Except they kind of skipped the first series and focused mainly on the other three.) Still good anyway.

My favorite character is Hyzenthlay.

I've never seen the movie. I didn't even know there was one until I saw this topic.

Watership Down is one of my favourite books EVER!

If you haven't read it, don't be fooled. It isn't a fluffy bunny story. There's lots of death and drama and I really wouldn't consider it a book for young children. There are countless dark scenes, including the story of the Black Rabbit of Inlé. And if that isn't dark, I'm not sure what is…

My favourite characters are Blackberry because he's the smart one and Pipkin because he's adorable!

Oh, and the ending actually made me cry. I don't cry at books often, but THAT ENDING :'(
