hey everybody. im new to scratch, and it is a lot of fun, but i have one problem. i make changes to one costume for a sprite, and it takes a while. is there any way to move all the changes to the other sprites as well? or do i have to do the work over again?

You don't have to do all the changes all over again, there is a way to skip past that. When you're at the costume that you just edited, right-click it and click export. Save the costume where you can find it again in the future. Now, go to the sprite you want the new costume in, go to its costumes, and click the image of a file. Upload the costume, delete your old one, and you should be good!

Another simpler method would be to drag your new costume into your backpack, go to the sprite you want it in, and simply drag it there.

Hi Homestuckfan101, and welcome to Scratch first of all! Yes, you can move costumes to other sprites without redrawing them. There are 3 options:

-you can place the costume in your Backpack (at the bottom of the online editor), and then select the other sprites and drag the costume into the sprites.
-you can simply grab the icon of a costume and drag that icon to any other sprite's icon to place it within it.
-you can save the costume to your computer (right-click on the icon and “save to local file”) and then import it into another sprite by clicking on the folder button in the paint editor.

I preferably use the second option, as it is quick and easy to drag the costume to another sprite. If you have anymore questions, feel free to ask!
