it wont let me change my pic and its not showing my new projects

You can't change your pic yet because that's just not implimented.

By “new projects” do you mean projects created on the old site after January 26th? You won't see those until the databases are synchronized again. The two sites are using different databases - and while the 2.0 site was created from a “snapshot” of the old site - there is no automatic updating going on.
