A third time at 1st place:I notice that when I turn on show mass, my mass will go down. Do you know why it's doing that?
Most of the time I was just eating pellets, unable to keep my mass up because I haven't eaten enough cells, expect for when my mass goes up when I eat a cell. Note that my size suddenly spiked up at the end, that was because a cell I teamed up with froze and I ate it just before a member of another team ate that. I got to first place with 7361 mass, then I started to press W and SPACE like crazy until I was eaten.

A third time at 1st place:I think that the stats are faulty because once I was playing teams and I lasted about 30 minutes and got really, really big. Then I died and the stats said that I had only eaten 6 cells for the whole thing.

(Hmm, maybe that was just a side effect of my strategy to eat only big cells, though… But I'm pretty sure that I ate at least 10.)

I notice that when I turn on show mass, my mass will go down. Do you know why it's doing that?It's always going down, you just didn't notice it until you turned on show mass

↑ Little cells decay slower than large cells. Every second or so you lose a percentage of your mass.

Agar.io! why is every youtube playing it?Because lots of people like online multiplayer games, and this one does not require many plugins.

I found out about it from notdoppler. I ONCE got to 7th place.

My best time would be about an hour, also if I started playing now until when you were eaten, I would have to skip some of my dinner time.
That was a very, very long time alive…

Come to think of it, it makes me wonder how I ate only half the cells that @CatsUnited ate, yet got almost four times the mass.

Come to think of it, it makes me wonder how I ate only half the cells that @CatsUnited ate, yet got almost four times the mass.
And yet, with only 1864 food eaten, @CatsUnited can get almost four times as big as me.
Perhaps the counter doesn't count freely-given mass…? (or maybe teams and FFA are profoundly different in playing strategy, explaining all of that).

North America Experimental is getting filled with Taiwanese teams. Just yesterday, I got #2 and then was mobbed by an entire team. They were feeding mass to each other just to try and get me.
I wish they'd somehow ban teaming up with other players from FFA - it would make the game so much better, with it actually being a free-for-all. Then people with actual skill can get on the leaderboard. (I guess there's no plausible way they can do that, though…)
