The blobs in the game are slightly comparable to agar jelly, but I don't think that is the true reason behind the name. I heard an explanation somewhere, something about a petri dish.Guys, is it called agar.io because of agar jelly?Not exactly, agar is a jelly-like substance, but not jelly.
EDIT: With further research, I found agar is indeed the reasoning behind the name.

Does anyone else hate FMM and experimental? I can't stand them. Everytime I play, someone eats me in like 2 seconds. Don't go saying I'm a noob, because I'm one of the best out there in teams. I favor teams over anything (name is Kuroko Tetsuya or Kiyoshi Fujino, in case you've seen me). If you see someone in one of the green shredding things and they're about the size of it and they're mocking you, throw some mass inside and it will kill them. That's what happened to me (I died T-T). Just a tip!I'm okay with all of them, though teams is my favorite (though it can be kind of frustrating).
Speaking of which, I was playing teams today and this is what I found:
First came a cell called Len Kagamine.
Then I saw a cell called LenxMiku. (No, I don't ship that.)
Then came Zatsune Miku, my fanmade shadow twin.
I tried to eat all of them but ended up eating none.
I never knew Len was so popular. I also never knew that my name was so inspiring.

Played on Green Team today. My cell lasted for almost an hour before getting eaten. :VThat's why I always play agario after I do “work”.
Also THIS GAME IS HIGHLY ADDICTING.

I lasted about 50 minutes, over half that time was on the leaderboard and got very close to number 1. At the final minutes, I was around 2nd-4th.

A third time at 1st place:
Most of the time I was just eating pellets, unable to keep my mass up because I haven't eaten enough cells, expect for when my mass goes up when I eat a cell. Note that my size suddenly spiked up at the end, that was because a cell I teamed up with froze and I ate it just before a member of another team ate that. I got to first place with 7361 mass, then I started to press W and SPACE like crazy until I was eaten.
