My theories

Yeah I have to agree here this probably takes place maybe right after the incident or a couple of days later and I have most recently read a article based on a serial killer who lost his frontal lobe, this means that the purple guy was bitten but he wasn't a kid he was most likely a adult and he already committed the crimes and the animatronic who bit him must've tried to stop him but this caused a termination or discontinuation in a animatronic line and which animatronic line was discontinued the toys were but this also gives us the explanation why nightmare Chica looks like the Fnaf 2 withered Chica and Bonnie being more blue than purple like his FNAF 1 counterpart but why is there Freddy and Foxy? Could it be that this kid witnessed it where the withered animatronics are located (parts and service room)?

When you FLIP down those CAMERAS, he goes CLOSER to the camera.
Then when you flip it back up again, Bonnie's FACE looks TERRORFING.

Your theory isn't completely wrong.. But it's not right.
Nightmare foxy.. uhm.. we wouldn't know if he would be at the fnaf2 location.. Which is where the bite took place..
BUT HERES MY THEORY

A lot of people say it would be either The Mangle or Withered Foxy because they’re jaws are the right size, and they have the sharpest designed teeth.
Ruling out withered foxy, he wouldn't be able to get to anyone during the day, and we know that one of the toy's did it from the newspaper at the end.
So a lot of people would immediatly suspect Mangle, because it couldn't be foxy.
But think about it:
Mangle is in terrible shape. She/He still wouldn't be able to move during the day because they would be taken apart by the kids constantly.
And even in that short window of time when they aren't, the guard there would probably keep the most watch on him/her. And also, because they think they're in the wrong room when theres no noise, she/he'd keep moving at a very slow pace.

So that leaves Toy freddy, Toy Bonnie, or Toy Chica.
Toy Chica wouldn't be able to because of her beak, so she's ruled out.
With Toy Bonnie and Toy Freddy, it's hard to decide.
They were allowed to move around during the day, so it's hard to say when they would be doing this.
If they were all on stage (except mangle), the most suspected would be Fred (toy freddy) because of two reasons.
One, he would be in front, with not much space blocking the way. Two, the microphone wouldn't be pressed directly up against his face, so there would still be room. And three, would be that Bon would have a guitar in his hands. That may not matter to most people, but it would make a difference. Bon would have to use both hands, and when not using it, would probably be off stage. Bon would be programed to stay in the same position and move his hands. Plus, when having to move for the right position of biting someone, he'd have to bend over slightly, probably stopping his hands, making it being way more noticed than a bear with a microphone.

So I think it's Toy Freddy. The suspect is most likely Jeremy, because he is replaced in night 7. My theory on why he was bitten is that some kid might of crawled up on stage, Fred got * because he could have looked like a criminal, and went all out crazy. Jeremy, sweet lovable Jeremy, could have grabbed the kid, gotten bitten, then miraculously survived. With surgery having to be done, he wouldn't have been able to go back, and the Toy's were discontinued.

This would also explain why the foxy from the first game still has pointy teeth, because they were never ruled out as dangerous. It was the scanners that would have been.

Yeah in that case it could've been the purple guy BUT that wouldn't go in the timeline due him killing his first victim in what we are guessing is the 60s during Fredbear's family diner. And I have to mention the house, it doesn't seem modern, so I'm guessing this game doesn't take place after FNAF 3 so no one brought something home after the audition but it could be in a grandparent's house if it was in modern times but then there is the toys, FNAF 3 took place in 2017 and in these modern times kids all have phones or iphones as they are known as, now take a look at the kid's room with the toys and height I'm guessing he is 3-5 years old and with this I think this game is taking place in 80s through late 90s

Yeah I have to agree here this probably takes place maybe right after the incident or a couple of days later and I have most recently read a article based on a serial killer who lost his frontal lobe, this means that the purple guy was bitten but he wasn't a kid he was most likely a adult and he already committed the crimes and the animatronic who bit him must've tried to stop him but this caused a termination or discontinuation in a animatronic line and which animatronic line was discontinued the toys were but this also gives us the explanation why nightmare Chica looks like the Fnaf withered Chica and Bonnie being more blue than purple like his FNAF 1 counterpart but why is there Freddy and Foxy? Could it be that this kid witnessed it where the withered animatronics are located (parts and service room)?

When you FLIP down those CAMERAS, he goes CLOSER to the camera.
Then when you flip it back up again, Bonnie's FACE looks TERRORFING.

Like I said at this point it could've been anybody even balloon boy but I assure you that it would be some oe we over looked or a big surprise like say balloon boy not saying I think he did it but it would be a surprise if he did it

The nightmare animatronics could be real. I'll find out that when FNAF4 comes out!
But, I do have a little theory about the nightmare animatronics.

If the nightmare animatronics WERE real, you would SEE them in the FNAF4 game.
If the nightmare animatronics AREN'T real, then how can you see them move? Is it all just a petcherfing nightmare?
Are you just DREAMING that you've brought a new house with TERRORFING nightmare animatronics in it?

Theres so many questions for game theory & us theorists to answer or guess about.
Hopefully, we'll get those questions answered when FNAF4 comes out.

I've researched what happens to the human body without the frontal lobe, seeing things is one of the side effects, so It's either we're are playing as a kid who was the victim or witnessed the bit

it was an old animatronic (from fnaf 1 ) because the phone aka purple guy says that the animatronics are left on some sort of freeroam mode at night because if they stay of to too long the break and he also says they used to be able to freeroam in day too but that was over whan one of the animatronics bites of someones fronatal lode and he says that in fnaf 1 and i think it was foxy because he is the only one besides chica that hase sharp teeth but chica cant move her beak son it was foxy
