Hope I don't sound stupid.
As well as creating our projects online and sharing them directly, can we still share our projects from a downloadable scratch application? I know they said “there will be a downloadable application for offline use,” but I'm just wondering if we can still share our projects from there. I know, I know, you're probably saying “why don't you just make your projects online?” Well, I do prefer an offline one because it lags less, thus timing events accurately will not be as hard, and I just prefer not having to use the internet to scratch in general. Also, if the internet goes slow (like it seldom does), will it slow down the program? I'm just wondering. I perhaps did not explore the site enough to find out the answer, but…answers please?
Looking at what I wrote above, yeah, I did sound stupid XD But seriously, can you be kind enough to answer?

Yeah, we will be able to share projects made from the downloadable version.

To your second question:
No, your internet connection should not affect the speed of Scratch. The only thing that it should change is the rate at which the page is loaded and the length of the autosaves (as well as regular online saves) of your project.
I hope that this answers your question!
